Hello! Jeff,
Michele and Meri Lee Parker would like to welcome you to Parker
Farm Boer Goats. We are located on Hwy 90, four miles west of
Uvalde. Uvalde is approximately 70 miles west of San Antonio along
Hwy 90.
Our family would like to tell
you about our business of raising Boer goats. We raise fullbloods
(reds, paints and traditionals), percentages, and show wethers.
The Colored Boer goat is where it all started for us.
Our first colored Boer Buck
was a solid red named "Rojo Grande." We owned him in
partnership with Border Boers of Del Rio. We then purchased "1st
S.A. Man of Red," who was a great sire for us. He was a large
paint buck, whose production was full of color. And that brings
us to "The Boyz" we have today. We are very excited
about getting our first kids out of some of these bucks!
Colored Boers are our passion,
but we have a little something for everyone. We enjoy raising
these animals and would love to share some of our quality animals
with other people in the goat industry.
On our website you will see
three different herd prefixes used on the various pages. They
are:
JMP - Jeff, Michele, and Meri
Lee Parker, Parker Farm Boer Goats
JKS - John and Karen Sullivan (our close friends and neighbors,
who have a herd of Red Boer does.)
PNS - Parker and Sullivan (a group of goats we purchased to expand
our Colored Boers)
